I’ve just discovered two issues. I am running Download Manager 4.6.7 with WPDM Amazon S3 2.6.1 active.

First, I can’t add Amazon S3 files to one of my packages (Single Sermons – MP3 Format). I can see the files in the buckets and it asks if I want to add them but the files aren’t added to this package and the window scrolls back to the top. I think this issue may be related to the next one. Keep reading.

Second, the drag and drop feature to reorder the Amazon S3 files is not working at all in any packages. As a result, I can’t rearrange my S3 files.

I have verified that these issues are also happening on my staging site running DM 4.6.7 and WPDM Amazon S3 2.6.0. I have tested with all other plugins deactivated except for Download Manager and WPDM Amazon S3 and I have tested on the default Twenty Fifteen theme with the same results..

Please help as soon as possible. Thank you.

We just noticed today that our shortcodes are not being parsed in the popups, and have probably been that way for about a week. This is a security issue for us.

Can you please see about a fix that is more reliable? I would be happy to run this as a mu-plugin, or whatever it takes to be sure this doesn’t happen.

I’m evaluating the free version of Download Manager and like it a lot, but I’m having trouble with it doing a very simple sort. On a test page, I’m using the following shortcode: [wpdm-all-packages items_per_page="20" categories="buyer-documents" jstable=1 order_by="title" order="asc"]

The test page contains two PDF documents, one title that begins “#5” and the other that begins “#7”. I would expect that the file beginning with “#5” would be listed first and the file beginning with “#7” would list second, but no matter what I try the opposite is true; the file beginning with “#7” appears first.

I’ve noticed some other quirkiness. First, when the page initially loads, the two files appear ordered correctly but a moment later they “flip” and order themselves in reverse, as if some javascript is forcing them into the wrong order. I’ve also noticed that the Create Date column heading “down” widget appears activated by default, even though I never click it. With the Create Date column heading “down” widget clicked, the two documents do indeed sort in the wrong order. Is it possible that there’s some client-side scripting that’s defaulting the table to automatically sort by create date in descending order?

If I can get this issue resolved I’ll likely make a purchase. Can you help?

i have problem…after update my icons disappeared. I foound that in URL path missing assets 🙂

Current URL: …/wp-content/plugins/download-manager/file-type-icons/pdf.png

Need to be: …/wp-content/plugins/download-manager/assets/file-type-icons/pdf.png

How to change the path?

Hello,

I bought the “form block” plugin.

But in my site it does not work.

Do I also need to install “download manager”?

I need this feature on my site: “Form Lock Add-on helps you to lock your download with a form so that user needs to fill and submit that form to get access to download”.

Hello!

I’ve reviewed the “Front End” section here on your site here:

Front-end UI Settings

On my own website, I went to Downloads > Settings > Category Page Options and then selected the following

• Show View Count
• Show Download Count
• Show Download Link

However, you can see that none of these settings that I’ve updated show up here:

Personnel Forms (All)

^ Where is the view count? Also, you will see that the download count is there, but it is there regardless of whether I change these settings or not.

After our users login, they are taken to this page (see attached) which allows them to go to their Dashboard, or to Logout. However, there are no options to return to the page from where they first received the prompt. How do I kindly escort users to the page from where they just were?

I’m a long time WPDM happy customer. Today I updated WPDM on our multi-site install. The Parent site does NOT use WPDM plugin, but ALL of my 21 sub sites have the plugin activated along with purchased Archive addon and about 5 free addons. Today, after the update, I saw an error display of “invalid lic”. So I looked up the lic# (see attached) and reapplied it – (per sub site in the settings > Lic) and each time the “invalid lic” error displayed. What is the cause and the solution?

Hi,

my website is using Download Mager plugin. It also uses the Jetpack Plugin to connect automatically to Facebook – every new post is automatically published on facebook. If a new post is added, there is a checkbox “Facebook” which is checked by default. If the post is published to the website, it is automatically published on facebook.

If a new download package is added, the same mechanism applies. But I don’t want to publish new download packages on facebook as they are private.

On the “Add new download package” page there is on the right-handside – in section publish – a checkbox “Facebook” which is always automatically checked. I have attached an image to illustrate it.
Now I am looking for a way to set the default value of this checkbox to false without changing the default value for the same checkbox in section posts.

Do you have an idea how to solve this?

When I submit my name and email it is not being passed to MailChimp. I have put the MailChimp API key in and selected the list from MailChimp settings.

Hi everyone,

I have a big issue actually, as i don’t want to modify URLs of each download 1 by 1 after changing my server (new domain name)
I tryied editing the database and replace each http://…. by the new one using notepad++ but when importing the database, all fields in attached files get empty.
Is anyone have an idea how to massively replace a part of the attached files URLs after changing server?
